Fredericks Sculpture Museum, the Japanese Cultural Center, and the Shiawassee National Wildlife Refuge. The downtown area is home to the Dow Event Center and the Temple Theatre; both venues offer live entertainment. The most famous person to come out of Saginaw is tennis player Serena Williams.

Mount Pleasant is a city in Michigan and is the county seat of Isabella County. The Chippewa River flows through the city. Mount Pleasant has a population of 26,016 and the racial makeup of the city is 87.6% White, 3.9% Black, 3.3% Hispanic, and 3.0% Asian (2010 Census). Mount Pleasant is one of the safer cities in Michigan. About one-third of the population is located within the Isabella Indian Reservation. When it comes to education, Mount Pleasant is home to the Central Michigan University, one of the largest universities in Michigan. Points of interest in Mount Pleasant include the Soaring Eagle Casino, the Ziibiwing Center, the Soaring Eagle Waterpark, and the Mount Pleasant Discovery Museum.
